Buy them 2 beers! Scary stuff. Nice to see Harry with his clothes on though...
I'm ticked off at my older son. He and his GF were here yesterday...just the 3 of us for the day. So we talked, I said I'd scrounge up dinner and asked him to bring up some meat from the freezer to unthaw. In the meantime I did take a nap...then got up, started cooking...
Then realized the house was awfully quiet. Well! Apparently they left...no note, nuthin'.
I really don't care if they stay for dinner or not...but since I was making it specifically for them it would have been much nicer if they stuck around long enough to eat it. Even if they had stayed another hour...I could have managed it.
And it's not like they had a pressing engagement to go to...
Anyway...today: Run errands with the younger son. He'd better not tick me off...I'm extra irked to begin with...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Day of football watching here. Cheering for my fantasy players. I won last week and play my husband this week so I might be 2-0 after tomorrow.

I need to go to the post office, do the household accounts...run to town to see what to do about the younger boy's cell phone (his broke...but it's still only 1/2 way into the contract)...then I have dance class.
That is a full day, believe it or not.55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Another busy-ish day coming up! The younger son actually asked to come to the city with me...lol. I should write it down on the calendar...
We'll see how that goes...it can make me either want to hug him or ground him...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Day wasn't bad. Could've done without the humidity; not even the rain cleared it. Thankfully I didn't have to go out in it.
It was not a good day for one of my friends, though...
There are people I talk to online every time they and I are online at the same time. One, a fellow betta lover and fishkeeper from Bellingham, had an exceedingly bad day. She works in a family-run dive shop, and today was apparently the day all the Complete Idiots came out of hiding. They made her day bad enough.
Her day was made worse when she discovered that someone had POISONED the shop's display tank. While draining it she found metal shavings and some black substance in the tank. She lost all her breeding-age female bettas, 14 of them, almost all of her longfin tetras (she says she can see their fins actually dissolving), and at least two male bettas. Her platies and pleco and both her other catfish are very sick. Who could be sick enough to poison a fish tank like that?

Hubby is home...for the day. Just enough time to do his laundry before heading off again.
So while he's doing that...I need to do some other housekeeping...
A very dull day coming up...which is fine. I'm tired and really cranky...no one get in my way...

My four year old son and myself have been planting more flora in the yard today.I also, received a few days ago from a friend four Royal(paulownia)empress roots. But,found out they are very invasive.Quite a bummer,as it is a fragrant, fast growing tree.

Saw an article in the paper the other day. Some moron dumped smallmouth bass and chain pickerel into some of the local lakes and waterways, and now the trout and salmon are getting fewer. Smallmouth bass and chain pickerel are not native to this area. What kind of an idiot does that?
