you are having no luck at all!!!!!

For me, well.... I spent all yesterday travelling back from Norway.
I was at the airport at midday and my flight was delayed.

The flight got resheduled for 18.10 getting my home to the house at 20:00.

I received a call from the office around 17:00 asking me if I could do a "quick job"....

So Today, after spending 11 hours at home I am in the North sea on another Rig!

The helicopter ride out this morning was nice though lol
Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

Ran out of room and time!!!

Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)

The doctor says the lump in my lip is not "crunchy" enough to be trapped glass. There's a chance it might be trapped debris of another sort, but most likely it is a cyst formed from the impact trauma. I was told to wait a week and see if it goes away on its own. If it doesn't, or if it gets worse, then she'll have the ear, nose, and throat specialist have a look at it.

Lady Red got her water changed again today. She is looking worlds better, her scales all smoothed back down into place and her color deepening back to that gorgeous red. I have to fish out the smallest betta pellets I can find to feed her, as she is still only just over a half-inch long, and crush up larger pellets if no tiny ones can be found. She's eating well and is very active. Epsom salt treatment is continuing for a while longer, just in case. Sunny, in the next tank, goes nuts at her now and then, full flared-out fin dance. She just ignores him XD

The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act

Nothing exciting...just been busy running around doing 'stuff' while I still have time to do so...

My ankle is better...so I can start normal exercising again...but man...two months of down-time and I'm obviously out of shape...

Today: Run of the mill Saturday...feed the snake, clean the house, maybe take the dogs for a walk...

I spent an hour at kmart trying to stock up on toliet paper. I have been a heavy coupon user the last year so I have changed how I buy household goods that dont go bad. When prices are good I buy a lot. I would rather haul in a ton of paper towels and tp a few times in a week than have to buy them every week.

Yesterday was all errands... I mailed out my 2nd Quilt to my grandma, and the invoice for some work I did.

Today is the weekly WoW with in-laws day. I also measured all my knit stockings and am getting my shop together so that hopefully I can sell some of my stash off and fund better and more interesting projects.

I am also working on my first knit pattern, which is counterpanes. I knit up one, and now I'm writing out the pattern as I work the second one. (Depending on how it all turns out will determine if it stays at home or is gifted)

I have so many projects going on... I need to keep my resolution and knit another stocking this month. I have the silicone now so I need to build my rockery/cave for my tank. I have a half done quilt for a friend I'm working on. I have a cross-stitch picture I'm partially done with for a Christmas gift. And in anticipation of getting to it next month... I bought the paint for the master bedroom.

I added the final cement layer to a new background. Now the 28 day wait *sigh*

Started painting the back and sides of the three 4.5ft tanks, blah horrid task that one!

Today.... I'm contempating how lucky I am to be out of the Airforce.

Got word from my mates on my old unit they were involved in this,

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-fight-on.html

That's my boys, 51sqn RAF Regiment.

Only left them in April. My replacement was in a vehicle that took an RPG.
    Very lucky to be alive.

Feel a bit guilty too...... will buy them a beer when they come home!
Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

Ran out of room and time!!!

Instead I'll tell you the best piece of fishkeeping equipment ever....... Algae Scrubber :)
