I'm on a four day break with my girlfriend. Last day away and the weathers gorgeous! Britain is seeing its records smashed for high temps in march. Aaaaah bliss

Ugh... Evil Week hit me broadside this morning. It took me forever to actually get to sleep, and then a telemarketer called. After a grand total of maybe three hours of sleep, the pain was too intense for me to get back to sleep, I was out of painkillers, and the phone was ringing every half hour. Had to call mom and ask her to pick up some more painkillers on her way home from work.

Spent about two hours playing Super Mario Galaxy to take my mind off the pain while waiting for the painkillers to kick in. It took me a good 45 minutes to get the first hidden star in the Freezeflame Galaxy; I just could not clear a wall to reach the sling star I needed to get to.

The 10-gallon tank got its monthly major cleaning this evening. The fish were not thrilled.

    ditto the carbon-copy days...but I'd sooner my same-old than Cyberra's evil week....

actually, that's not entirely true now that I think about it. Bad luck - Last night on the drive home I picked up some kind of staple in my tire...the tire shops were all closed. So I left the thing in the tire and hoped I would still have air to make it to town the next day. Good luck - I did.

When I got to the tire shop, they said good thing I left it in, as when they pulled it out, the tire did leak air, and they had to patch it. They only charged me $20.

I'm thankful when that's the extent of my "bad luck"...

Evil Week pain kept me awake until noon, then I managed to sleep until almost 6pm. Took some more painkiller after dinner and decided to lay down... I woke up at 10:40pm. The meds knocked me right out.

Waiting to talk to a teacher. Got an e-mail about the 16-year old's disruptive behaviour...and then got a totally contrasting story from the 16-year old. I'm not a parent that thinks their kid is perfect...mine can take his lumps. But it has to make sense.

Then work...then violin lesson. I'm also thinking of splurging on a new violin case. Saw one I like on sale...and my old one, while still fine, is starting to show signs of wear...

I'll be mad though, if I buy it (on-line), get it, and hate it...

Had dance class last night! Upper body work-out. I didnt' know my rib cage was so mobile!

Went shopping with my daughter yesterday...it's her birthday today and she wanted kitchen stuff...so that's what she got as her gift! Today I'm making her dinner...

Had a fund-raising dinner/dance last night. Fun! Live music (big band style and dance) and for a change, the dance floor was full!

Today I need to get caught up on housework, then practice...then cook.

I think I'm going to bake those cookies too...experiement with the teff flour.

Had to go into the house and change a couple of burnt-out lightbulbs. We're still trying to sell the place. Am getting sick of having to go in there to do stuff.

Refilled all of my water bottles while I was at it. The 2.6-gal needs cleaning again.
