Went to dance class yesterday...got a good ab workout...

Violin lesson tonight...then ensemble rehearsal...so it should be fun! I just hope we don't get snowed out...looks ominous out there again...

Bit of a reversal for me tonight - but a good one. I had thought that the bellydance class I teach was going to be done in the fall...but found out tonight the studio rejigged the schedules so now we are back on, plus, we might even get another night!

tomorrow is Damsel Eviction day. I have a rubbermaid of mixed water standing by to recieve all my live rock, so the damsel will have nowhere to hide, and he is going to be rehomed to a much bigger tank - win-win all around.

Except for me having to break down my ENTIRE tank to get at him, of course.
Sigh.

Regular saturday planned! And tonight I volunteered to take tickets at the quartet performance I'm going too...I get a free ticket for working!

That's not why I'm doing it though...just needed a little change of pace...plus, I know these guys...

Wind was blowing hard today... and it was blowing right in through the exhaust vent of the air exchanger. The wall right above my bed was making some very interesting and unnerving creaking noises, not to mention assorted bangs and clangs and scrapes. Not something you want to hear going on right over your head.

Opal and Gem got their tanks cleaned today. And of course, as soon as the tank was clean, the very first thing Gem did was poop in it ><

Next up, the 10-gal's monthly intense cleaning, and the 2.6-gal's water change.

On a side note, the female betta whose health I was asking about a while back (before the thread went right off the rails), is fine. She has gone from dark brown with blue and green scales along her sides to nearly pure white with red fins, but otherwise she is a healthy little she-betta. Zipping all over the tank, healthy appetite, getting into chases with the others...

I have absolutely no clue why she decided to change color. But she did, and it doesn't seem to be affecting her in any other way

...on today's scheduale: Veg and coffee...clean the bird (procrastinated yesterday)...practice...make dinner...

Today I'm going sneaker shopping with my mum, then getting some new fish to put in the thirty gallon tank and then if I find my camera charger, going to Longwood Gardens for their International Orchid Show.

Plus cleaning out my car and such.

I'm home!

So lots of laundry and sorting through the luggage. (already checked the gifts/souvenirs we packed because the TSA rummaged through them. (As in unwrapped several glass items and then re-wrapped with their own packing tape so its obvious they were in there) Thankfully nothing was broken.

...same old today. I think I'm up for a change...just to spice up the week a bit...because the entire week will be 'same old'. Dunno what to do...don't want a big change...but could use something little...

So far washing the car is it for today...*bleh* I need to do better...
