The internet is like a trap for curious people. Yesterday I didn't get to work on the closet because I realized after a few hours looking at what exactly chemically is happening in Excel that I'd wasted my really working time.
However, today I have made up for it by getting out to the store and have returned with paint for not one but TWO of the bathrooms in the house, and my shepherd's hook for my bird feeder to replace the one the bear mangled last fall.
I predict painting in my near future. The downstairs half bath I'm going with "Warm Gold" which is a rather vibrant yellow to match the sunflower border that's already up. When it gets here I picked up a rug kit to make a nice matching rug.
For the upstairs the color is called "Twilight Gray" and is a very light smokey blue.

Lazy day for me. Woke up, went on the computer for the morning (lol) researching my new Liquid E phone (wow, the stuff thats out there!), read a bit, going to clean one tank. Basically wasted the day away on the computer tho, on different stuff.
Got a new Tassimo brewer yesterday tho, and WOW love the chai tea! I think I'm going to enjoy it.

Slept in (not on purpose)...rushed to get the 15-year old to town for his first basketball game (tournament)...watched them lose 32:76
.
Went to the city, booked our connected flight from Edinburgh to Prague for our upcoming trip (relief that that's looked after)...tried to book the Edinburgh B&B but no one answered the e-mail or the phone call...and the website might be old (the drop down menu for the year on the booking screen only went to 2007) ...so not sure if they're still up and running or not...
Rented some movies for tonight...opened up the chicken coop door for the chickens to enjoy the 0 C weather...and am now having coffee and a snack and debating whether to vacuum...not motivated to start doing a full clean this late in the afternoon...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Very slow day... Slept in, then Midnight's tank was due for a cleaning and water change. Finally got around to watching "The Final Destination" ("Final Destination 4")...
On that topic, if anybody has/knows where to find any of the "Final Destination" series books, specifically the titles "Dead Reckoning", "Destination Zero", "End of the Line", "Dead Man's Hand", "Death of the Senses", and "Wipeout", I am DESPERATELY trying to find copies, but every source I try has them listed as unavailable or sold out. If you know where to find a copy, please let me know? *begs on knees*
The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act

Yesterday, my 15-year old had a basketball tournment (starting at 9:00 a.m.)...and then he had to work from 6-11 p.m.
At 11:05 p.m. a buddy of his calls (my son wasn't even home yet - hubby went to pick him up)...wanting his cell number so he could call him to 'hang out'.
I just said 'no'. Geez...even a 15-year old gets tired after a long day like that...and I don't think AFTER 11:00 is when you should start planning your hanging out time...
...never mind that fact that as parents...I'm unwilling to do MORE driving long after I want to be in bed sleeping...
I felt like calling this kid's folks after 11:00 to discuss the issue with them...55 g Goldfish Tank - 5 Fancies, 2 Dojos

Have you tried alibris.com ? Its a used(and new) book website I've used in the past with some success.

So I'm going to have my coffee... and return Mr.Bloodfin to the big tank today in time for pea day. Which is some good news.
Then I'll probably start taping things for painting.

Lazy Sunday!
Just did a 50% water change. When I change that much of the water, I always add a capful of Stability as a precaution. Fish are active, happy and look really good. Dojos are their usual rambunctious selves.
Having my green tea and pondering what next to do on my aquatic collage, which I'll be using as the background for my 65-gallon. It's a little over 3 quarters finished. Just have to tie a few more things into each other for cohesiveness.
Am running our new space heater, as the Eden Pure went kaput.
Not much else, except enjoying this forum and trying to help out where I can.
