Quiet day yesterday. Did laundry and finished up with end of holiday clean-up. Today I'm back at work, but it's quiet.

Need to run a couple of errands on the way home, including picking hubby up from the airport...and that's it for today!

...returned a purchase to Walmart, picked up crickets, picked up hubby...drove all the way across town to pick up some alterations from the tailor, had dinner at Wendy's, picked up my new trial contact lens and hubby had his glasses adjusted, picked up my daughter's 4th drug prescription (she managed to find herself a drug-resistant strain of bacteria...great)...

Got home at 8:00. Discovered that one of the two alterations wasn't made -have to go back and drop it off again today.

    And I'm wearing the new contact...it's a no-go too...

On the plus side, Ling finally shed this morning, so I can feed her tonight. It's been forever waiting for her to shed this time (and she won't eat during one)...she looks hungry too...

Well I need to find a recipe to make some cranberry preserves out of my dried cranberries I picked up so I can make these Cranberry Eggnog pinwheels that caught my eye in my new cookie cook book.

I'd like to get the big giant monitor off the dinning table so I can get back to working on the quilt since I just need to do the quilting and then the binding to be done. Unfortunately that means making room in the closet where the rack of computers is.

I should buy and then start putting in all the "house books" into this collecting software that seems pretty decent. Its going to be a big job.... there are probably a good 6 or so boxes in storage plus what's upstairs. I used to keep them all in a spreadsheet on my old machine (linux) and setting that up again and trying to save it over looks like it won't be as nice of a set up as the new. Since I tended to shop a number of Goodwills for books I'd like I would do that to try to keep track of what I had picked up and if I had a series of books which ones might be missing. So I'd like to get it set back up so I can actually see what I missed reading in my collection.

Cleaned Sunny's tank today. He's not happy with me. The Idiot Dog did NOT want to go outside to do his business today... It took myself and dad to literally shove him out the door. Spent most of the rest of the day either asleep or talking fanfiction with various other authors. we're batting around various plot bunnies, though we have decided on a round of Transformers Truth or Dare in one of the fics we're writing >D The older members of the group of characters we're using are going to have soooo many embarrassing stories to tell XD

Took the unfixed shirt back to the tailor shop to be refixed. It took her 5 minutes and she did a great job. I'm glad we could wait for it.

Went home...had eggs for dinner trying to put a dent in the egg supply in the fridge...practiced violin, fed the snake and cleaned out her shed and the giant stinking snake poop she deposited...

Snakes can be surprisingly noisy I found. She hisses, does this 'air release', like a sigh, and makes some squeaky noises (no idea how). She also blow bubbles in the water bowl when she drinks. She's in the 'music room' and I was practicing while defrosting the rat and looking after her...so I was watching for a long time...

Found out that my old tennant (very clean) had vacated the suite...and didn't bother to pay me the two months rent he owed. Thought I had a new tennant, but he found a place he liked better. Back to square one. I hate being a landlord.

Managed to get everything done by 8:00 p.m. and then vegged...

Today is multi-task day at work. I'm on the teller line and at my desk. Hopefully will be a steady day, but not too crazy.

Tomorrow headed to Estes Park with the BF for a short trip and then back down to the flats for a late Christmas party for his work.

    Sunday is Stockshow!!!

Posted my fall semester books onto my schools freshman group, if nobody buys them I can still sell them on half.com or similar sites. I managed to wiggle the top off my 404 canister I got with my 125g and put all my fish "crap" (Mom's just don't understand) in the shed with the 125g. Going to install the 404 on my 55g to have.. 70+65+60+100 = 295g worth of filtration lol. My water better be spotless!
