Arm still sore and a bit swollen...today I have a violin lesson and then I should run down and get my new glasses adjusted...right now they're so tight they're digging grooves in my scalp and leaving read spots on my nose.

I think my new contacts (trial) will do too. There might be a better option out there, but I don't have the time or the inclination to try and find it. I'll order my second pair of glasses too...(2 for 1 sale).

I just finished working at the Dining Hall here on campus. I worked from 9-1 and then had a class from 1-1:50 so I went to that afterwards.

I've been looking around on the internet, resetting my Paypal password, and currently surfing the AC.

Later on I'm going to go to batting practice and hopefully throw a light bullpen for our double header tomorrow against Virginia Tech's club team.

After that I'm going to go to dinner, possibly go to the gym, and maybe go out tonight.

Vacuumed the gravel in my 65 and did a minor rescape. Looks really good. Treated with Prime when finished. Also rinsed the older prefilter sponge. It sure needed it! Am counting consistently only five of my original seven blue glofish -- wonder what happened, there? Haven't found anything dead in the tank, so if the other two died, they were fully consumed. Not surprising, considering I have a medium-sized Shubunkin goldie and a smaller comet, 5 dojo loaches that will eat almost anything, and six rosy barbs that are also gluttonous. Not to mention the snails. Several somebodies may have gotten between-meal snacks ....

Other than that, just lazing about, doing a little housework here and there.

Furnaces going, now. It has been chilly for several days in a row. I've brought in most of the tools and equipment from the garden and have them stored in the shop. Just about all I intend to do out there has been done. Maybe a little more deadheading, but that's about it.

    Still feeding the birds ...

I've gotta finish off my tank rearranging today

The rest of the cherries need to move out of the 2ft, and into the new shrimp 3ft tank, so i can get it ready for my breeding angel pair (temp holding in the new 4ft)
Canister will be setup on the 4ft today
Will catch and euthanize the neons in the 2.5ft, tank will then be pulled down and thoroughly cleaned
The 2x 2.5ft that are on the double stand will be given a good scrub and clean, 1 will become a quarantine tank, the other will become home to my 2 fantail goldies that survived whatever was grabbing them out of the pond.
Will be doing a 75% WC on the 5ft today, also canister is due for maintenance as are the 2 internal filters.

^^^along with the above, got washing to do, bathroom to clean and vacumming to do *LOL*

    Gonna be a busy day
    Lots of tanks

...bought a new door knob set for the shed (needs to lock), got a pile of new music for my string ensemble, so I organized it and figured out most of the new stuff...I think my C clef reading is getting fractionally better...bought a set of cute blank 'flash' cards and am making myself a set of key signature and notation cards...

Maybe I can finally memorize all the various major and minor keys out there.

I know what they are, but I can't for the life of me remember the names of them...strange, or what? *bwahaha*

They found another person hoarding cats again a few days ago. So many cats that they can't even find room in the shelters for them.
    http://www.lifewithcats.tv/2011/10/1...-hoarded-cats/

"A 3 day removal operation ended up taking a total of 236 cats, both living and dead, from the home."

83 cats remain, the rest had to be euthanized because of disease, bad health, or they were too feral.

I can't even imagine how bad the living conditions could have been. They found another cat hoarder a week or two earlier as well.
