after quarantine period, they'll be going into my 40g planted tank. occupants of the 40g breeder tank are 30-35 boraras maculatus, 30ish boraras merah and 25 brigittae. All of those are microrasboras, they all stay under an inch in size. I figured these guys would fit in well, they'll be the big guys in the tank. Also some otocinclus and red cherry shrimp in the tank. I think a few pygmy cories still, hard to tell never really see them.

Did you find the Cherry Shrimp at a chain pet store, localy, or online. I have not been able to find them except for online which the shipping is outrageous.

Got them originally from a local member of the fish club I'm in. Depending on where you are, the shrimp should cost maybe a dollar each. On some forums you can get them for around $20-$25 for 20 shipped.

Well presently I'm having my coffee waiting for the lawn care guys to show up. They said yesterday they would be by today to do some pruning as their regular fall maint., which I'm thinking will save me some hard work if I get them to prune the stuff I want pruned as part of the deal. Unfortunately today is fluctuating between "torrential downpour" to plain rain and back again (as opposed to general misty light rain all day) so not sure if they will really truly be out today or not.

Did some minor chores already... I'm hoping to have time to do both my WCs and the grocery store later.

I'm also hoping to test this book collecting software out more and decide if I want to spend the cash on it, or not. And list a few items on craigslist to clean some of the stuff that frankly is just a space eater at this point. (Old trading card sets, an old car, etc.)

Mowed and bagged some grass today in the yard to feed the goats, and my son and I came across a 10 inch butler's garter snake.Ouch, it bit me.Out of all of my reptiles this snake did the worse damage to my fingers.

Apparently I'm turning into a domestic fiend as I age... Thank you 'Hoarders: Buried Alive' for providing both entertainment and incentive...

I cleaned the house for Thanksgiving, made the usual turkey dinner for the extended crew on Monday. That wiped me out... I was so stiff I could barely move yesterday morning when I got up.

Worked yesterday, took the dogs for a walk late afternoon. My ankle didn't swell up, so even though it's still a tad swollen, at least it might finally be mending (it's been 4 months).

Got my 2nd 'close' contact lens last night. I'm trying it out today. Huge improvement in overall vision. Maybe this combination (monovision) is good enough. Then I can order my 2nd pair of new glasses...and I'm all set an stylin' for the next two-three years.

I siphoned the 10-gal today... The girls are not impressed. Red Amber keeps watching me when he thinks I'm not looking, and then when I look at him he tries to pretend he wasn't staring at me. Right now he's giving the most confused look to a peacock feather behind his tank XD

I'm currently reading the "All Hail Megatron" Transformers comic series and wishing certain annoying parental units would leave me alone for a while.

The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of the act

Went for my flu shot during the lunch hour yesterday...opted for one of the public clinics thinking it might be faster...but noooooo...

Got a bonus vaccination too! Pneumococcal Vaccine No. 23. Now I don't have to worry about picking that one up if I happen to be sharing musical mouthpieces...

Went to dance class...had a good workout...including my arms...

Today my right arm doesn't want to cooperate...between the vaccine and the exercise...
