    im shooting with a d40 i did a quite extensive set-up as far as programming on the camera goes, all photos were actually shot in the same exact mode. thanks for all the positive comments everyone im going to be taking more pictures of my fish/tanks my next day off. got quite a few that arent in the thread, so be looking for an update in a couple days!

    Those are some amazing pictures you got there I would say my favorite is either the seagull flying (first one) or the cory at the beginning. Great job nonetheless!

    Great pics. A new lens is always a good time. Those gull shots are absolutely stunning! You may have inadvertently helped me i.d. one of my cichlids. When I saw your shot of your cichlid I did a double take. It looks just like one of mine that I got out of a petsmart mixed cichlid tank. Are they the same type? Thanks much

    it could be, the one in my picture is actually a juvie about 3 inches long. the one in your picture looks too dark to be a red top cobalt zebra though. my males are blue and white, while the one in the picture is blue and black. if i had to guess ide say it wasnt based on color and mouth shape of my adults. it is possible its a color morph though
