Sick guppy?

One of my female guppys doesn't swim with her body straight, the end is sort of hanging down. Is she ill? She's been doing this since I got her 5 weeks ago.

is this a recent development? I assume you mean a bent spine?

Exactly, it looks like the spine is bent.
I've only had her for 5 weeks and she's been like this all the time. I didn't notice in the fish store, but maybe she did it there too and I just didn't pay enough attention.

if she came that way, it is likely a birth defect. if she developed it, it might be related to fry bearing

Is she suffering? Should I put her to sleep?
