Good floating plant for noob plant keeper
What is a good floating plant to put in my 20 gallon to provide cover for my fry? I don't want one that is hard to care for. I have never kept a live plant in my tank before, so keep that in mind.

Salvinia. There are a number of species. Check at the LFS to see what they have. You only need a few, they grow quickly!
Also Horwart. It has lots of fine leaves and will grow in a big mat at the surface if you let it.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Floating plants like dwarf water lettuce, or frogbit are fairly easy to keep. Easy to cleanup as well, not like duckweed. Hornwort is good too. All those should be fine even under stock lighting.
