Default How does one pronounce it?

    RICCIA.

Is it "Ris-see-ya", or "Rik-kee-ya", or "Rich-ee-ya", and which syllable is accented?

    Just curious ...

hahaha it actually got a lot right, i played with it for close to 20 min to get an improper pronunciation. it actually even said phenylketonuria correctly, which impressed me quite a bit.

wouldnt everything be easier if it was all spelled phonetically!

This plant comes up in our monthly plant auctions a fair bit, over the last two years I've heard it being pronounced all those ways you mentioned. Rik-kee-ya is how i say it.

It's always fun to see people trying to pronounce the latin names of plants/fish.
