Batik (AK zodiac) loaches?
Any one ever have? I read it is one of few loaches than can thrive in 80 degree and can be kept single.
Thanks in advance!Check out my 55 Gallon, planted, Philly themed community tank! Rummynose and Cardinals, dwarf cichlids, plecos, shrimps

I don't know much about them but I'm almost positive bumble bee gobies need a group of at least 6 to feel comfortable and also need almost brackish water to live at their best. How is yours doing?

Carapar the question was about zodiak loaches correct? To answer your question carapar, actually no,bbg are best kept solitary as they are very territorial, there are also a few sp of them ,one requires brack the other does fine in fw.
For the OP, the research I have done claims this loach to be a loach of faster moving water thus the temps of 80 degf would be quite high and lead to lower oxygen content. They would also require a specific type environment that provides the good current and high levels of oxygen.Last edited by smaug; 08-19-2012 at 08:00 PM.
