new pics of my wilds
about 8 monthe ago I posted some pics of my shipment of wild discus, and how fed ex destroyed the box. 3 of 8 made it thru the first day. I gave a brief discription of my tank and there was some concern about keeping wilds in a ph of 7.6. one gentleman went so far as to insist my fish would be dead within 3 days. click to the present. my fish are healthy, beautiful, and growing. largest is almost 7" and the rest are close to 6". decided for once to use flash. hope you enjoy. first up is the stars.

75 gallon community tank: tetras, danios, corys, platies, otos, pearl gouramis, bristlenose pleco, assassin snails, red cherry shrimp, bamboo shrimp
70 gallon growout tank: clown loaches, sailfin pleco
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish
29 gallon frog tank / 10 gallon tadpole tank: 1 leopard frog, 1 tadpole
10 gallon and 5.5 gallon betta tanks: 1 male betta each, sometimes snails

Great looking fish. I absolutely love wild Discus. I personally find them to be more attractive than the captive bred color strains.

Colorful fish, obviously happy. And crystal clear water! You must have some heavy-duty filtration on that tank.
