Tiger Barbs
Couple of pictures of a few tiger barbs in my 30 gallon tank. I am relatively new to all this and have learned lots on this forum so far. Thanks. Any thoughts on the TB's? Tips? Suggestions?

Keep them very well fed. I feed mine blood worms and they go crazy eating them. They arent as nippy when they are fat and happy. I give mine lots of plants because when they sleep they push up against the plants and use them for cover.

Thanks for the tips. I have recently added several live plants that they do like taking cover in. How often do you feed? I feed only enough for them to eat in one sitting only once a day. Usually flakes then freeze dried brine shrimp on alternating days and frozen bloodworms once a week. Is this enough?
Thanks Again

I feed them twice a day. They get New Life Spectrum tiny bites food (its the only type they accept) and bloodworms or brine shrimp at night. I put in shrimp pellets for my bottom feeders and they pick at them. I only feed enough that they will eat right away however.

Just make sure not to overfeed them. That is the number one reason for cloudy/dirty tanks and out-of-whack pH and ammonia levels. Good lookin fish tho
