The Bumblebee Jelly (SA) Catfish is darkly colored with a pale collar around the neck, and sometimes a few other small spots of pale color elsewhere.
The (SA) Bumblebee Catfish is the same dark color, but with several collars on several parts of the body of pale color. Sometimes it has so much pale that it looks like the dark color are the bands.
Those are the only two South Americans that I know of that are sold commonly and could be confused for each other.
Additionally, these aren't a predatory species. They're omnivores, who are often very good in communities.
Asian Bumblebee Catfish are the predatory ones, and may be identified by their nasal barbles, shorter body height and their bands usually come in as strong white or bright yellow, instead of the faded hues the SAs get.
A severe lack of trichogaster.
Just because your Gourami is sick does not mean it is always Iridovirus, DGIV, Gourami Disease, et cetera.
Look at all the other factors in your tank before coming to this conclusion.
