She saw it a walmart and just had to have it for her class room.Didnt even know what the heck it was,,she said she bought a fiddler,>>>face in palm Picard style>>> I know,,,geeesh.Anyway it didnt take long to know what she got was a red claw crab and they will prove fairly easy for her to care for.

yup,that big sucker was in a tiny little beta cup.Oh well,it has a better chance with us then many others that would have bought it and chucked it in there fish tank with no air access.

One of this days I might go from Betta to crab, too. They are really cool, but I wouldn't put them together with fish. Is a 5 gallon tank big enough for them?

I would think a 5 gal would do fine for one crab of this size.We are gonna set up a 10 gal with a rockscape and about 6 inches of water.
