Yes!
So since I dont have any good LFS in my area besides the usual petco and petsmart, I decided to make the hour and a half journey to a Fish store that has over 500 aquariums. I went in there and it was like information overload. I found my future CO2 system there, a Fluval CO2 system (i never even knew they made them!) and I came home with a pair of utterly beautiul Gold Gouramis.. Their color was just beautiful. I never saw a more beautiful freshwater fish.
The fish store was so nice, I didnt see one dead fish, all the fish were happy looking, and what I liked the most was there was a worker there, with a turkey baster and large bucket giving them all a treat of brine shrimp and blood worms.
They had a 150 gallon planted aquarium with the most beautiful plants ive ever seen.
I also bought this wavy sword type plant that is now going to be my main plant in my aquarium.
While the trip was long and full of traffic, I am so happy with my purchases!!!!

love it! I am so anti big box fish hut. I have to admit I am lucky though, I have found that I have not one but 2 legitimate LFS's in my area, (20 -30 minute drives)
One seems to have more tanks, equipment, etc. The other seems to have more fish selection, but either store is awesome compared to the fish huts of petco & petsmart.1 38 gal freshwater
1 Sailfin Pleco
3 red eye tetras
4 harlequin raspboras
2 mollies
3 albino corys
2 ottos
4 neon tetras
2 dwarf guramis

I feel spoiled with 5 a short bus ride from me...
Careful, Cassie. 2 gouramis in the same tank often become opposing parties of a parliament!

I have long exp with them. They'll get along for a while, until one shows injury or weakness, and it's game over. The victum never fights back to the bully. If that happens, one has to go or the bully will affect the whole tank. I swore never to buy dwarf gouramis again, they are hostile aggressors to even fish 2-3 times their size! Ha.

That's nice! It's worth driving several miles out of one's way to get good quality, sometimes. Do they put the little blue Bag Buddies tablet in with fish that have to travel a long distance to their new home? The one I use does that, and I've never lost a fish enroute.
Nice find!
