What Kind of Catfish?

Hello All
I am new to the community and I want to know if anyone can help me identify the catfish in my tank. I got it from a very small pet shop where I found it in a small tank and the owner also did not know what type it was. It is about 6 inches long. Hope there is someone who can help.

You can check with fishbase.org or planetcatfish.com. They usually only hit about 6", but I have seen a few get a little bigger. Many hide ALL the time, others are out more. Most will at least come out to eat at feeding time. They don't tend to bother anything and because of their size they are rarely bothered.
