There's a number of places on Long Island I could recommend, but this is the time of the year they're generally less available. Where in the city are you, the difference between Queens and the Bronx, say, is pretty significant when it comes to recommendations-if you're in Queens there's some places in Nassau I can recommend.

-250 Planted Community: Angel, Rainbowfish, Zebras, Harlequin Rasboras, Cherry Barbs, Tiger Barbs, Gold Barbs, a large mixed school of cories, BN Plecos, Various inverts, and a mated pair of Kribs (and whatever of their progney I haven't gotten rid of yet)
-10 Growout tank: Currently home to some cory fry, snails, and red cherry shrimp
