HELP!!! Think my Firemouth is sick!
I fed my fish this morning and my firemouth did eat, although not as enthusiastically as usual. However, I've noticed a very disturbing site, she is "twitching." Every 10 seconds or so either just her dorsal fin will twitch, or even scarier, body twitches. My girlfriend just told me as I'm writing this that her twitch just forced her to swim backwards a little. Now that I see this I remember yesterday I saw her kind of running into a rock (which seemed to be on purpose), and every once in a while she would rub what looked like her forehead on the driftwood in my tank. I've also noticed a spot located just in front and on the right side of her dorsal fin, and possibly the same thing right next to her dorsal fin on the left side, but I'm not sure if this is significant because it's barely noticeable. It may just be from running into things. Any suggestion on what it may be or how to treat? I really need some help here.

I have no idea but looking in my encyclopedia there's a disease called shakes, symptoms are wobbling and clumsy swimming. Treatment was to raise water temperature to 80f and change water.
