    Default my 2 giant 2 ft eels

    im confused which eels they are..picked them up from a river..quite scary when they stand in aquarium like snakes...any guesses?

    i apologize for asking if this is a serious post but, is this a serious post? we need pictures, the river you got them from, time of year (possibly affect it) a better description than they look scary. also is the part of the river you got them from FW or brackish? by standing what do you mean? if they are trying to get out of the water they might not really be eels.

    BUT if i had to guess ide say banana eel. below picture is them

    We are talking about freshwater eels. The banana eel is saltwater...Jeesh..

    It could be a colgate eel.

    They are usually pretty small but I have heard of them coming in economy size before. Usually at Sams Club.



    Pics always help in ID'ing things. This is the photo area after all...
