    Default Nitrate question - AGAIN!

    Sorry to keep asking questions about nitrates but this is odd. If you have been following my various posts, then you know I have replaced a faulty protein skimmer, cleaned my sand, and added just a bu=it of Amquel to my tank. All this done TWO days ago when my nitrates were off the charts at 100 or more. Today I decided to tet the water and come up with ZERO nitrate, zero, everything??? Could this be? I have had my test kit checked and I know it is accurate.

    Forget it!!!!I just retested and it is still well over 80..sorry for the post
