My future 10 gallon aquarium

Alright, so a friend gave me his 10g aquarium which is already cycled "i tested the water" so im planning to buy the supplies and fish tomorow or saturday. Heres what im planning on buying:
6 Zebra danios
1 cory
1 oto in maybe a month or two, because im afraid there isnt any algae now, and it will die of starvation
aquaclear 20 filter
elodea which i will hopefully grow succesfully
petsmart midnight black gravel
And fish food, but i dont know what type. any reccomendations?

is there still fish in there with a filter running now keeping the cycle going? If not...you could be losing or already lost your beneficial bacteria. If no fish, I assume you are running the filter with a little ammonia in the water to keep the bacteria alive?

yes im constantly adding ammonia

Cory's are sociable schooling fish. One is going to be lonely. I'd like you to get five, but do get a minimum of three. If the store stocks, or can order, go with a school of dwarfs. C. hastastus, C. pygmaeus, C. cochui, or C. hasbrosus all max out at 1.4 inches.
