clawed frog sick?
Hey everyone,
After coming home from thanksgiving dinner tonight I noticed my african clawed frog upside down in his tank. He is still alive but he couldn't swim for oxygen. It really freaked me out so I got a bowl and filled up just enough water for him to stay wet and keep his nose out of the water.
I did feel him quite a larger amount of food than he is normally used to, but he's eaten an entire killifish with no problem. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong and what else I can do to help the guy?45 Gallon Community

two posts in a row O_O
I am sitting here at my desk watching him. He seems to be scrunching his body and then extending it, almost like hes trying to pass something?45 Gallon Community

ouch. He does seem to be getting more responsive though. He's actually moving around and going underwater.

Just a little update. He hasn't eaten anything since thursday, and is still in the bowl. I have placed him in his 10 gallon and he is very pale and couldn't swim to the top. I can feel something hard in him but I don't know if thats his anatomy or if it's maybe a gravel stone.
If anyone passing has any idea how I can help him or if there is no hope for him how I can humanely euthanise him so he doesn't have to suffer?45 Gallon Community
