My dog: One week after she was attacked
Just a couple of photos for whoever is interested. WARNING: gruesome
The first is 2 days after the attack, when Vet #2 undid the impractical bandaging that Vet #1 did.
The others are from today. So 1 week since the attack. They're healing, but I'm still worried...rightly or wrongly.

Of course you're worried and I can see why! Poor dog. But she will heal.

Poor pup. It tears us up when things like this happen to our pets.

Sorry...pictures took a while to load...here in the land of 'old-school' dial-up.
I still don't have all the bills. I need at least one more vet visit - and maybe another week's worth of antibiotics and ointment.
The police report has been filed. The owners will get a ticket and are legally responsible for the vet bills. The fact that the owner is on council helps- the police said they will pay (she can't afford to look irresponsible). But we'll see if the police are right.
As far as we know their dog is fine. Didn't even take it to the vet...

That poor dog.
Looks like she's starting to heal up nicely.
I would say you need not worry about her, but I know you will no matter what.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks guys.
I hope you're all right. She pulled the stitches out of that big hole under her ear...and nothing much to do about it now...but it still grosses me out.
I'd be less upset if these injuries were on someone else's dog. Blood and gore don't bother me too much normally. And even the horses don't bother me as much as my dog...
Anyhoo...warm compresses twice a day for the next week still! I wish she'd hold still for those.

Your very lucky it wasnt bad. Your dog is going to be fine :]
My precious puppy died about a month ago. He was only 5 years old. My babe was very close to be. I had a very strong connection with him an still do. I really just wish he was still here physically. Only if i could hug him one laast time, it would be a great feeling again.

Died at the age of five, yet still in my heart and never forgotten.
