Nice additions
I tried to find tank raised Bangaii cardinalls but had no luck, only wild caught around here for sale.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Cool pics
I really like those cardinells.
Good job getting a pic of the crab. I've got two of them in my tank and my wife and I have only seen them twice sense then. It could have even been the same crab twice, not too sure. We only see them when the moon lights are on.
Any other plans for future additions ?If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Well I still definitely wanna get the flame angel... but that won't be for a couple weeks since my next couple weekends are booked up... plus I don't wanna go overboard lol... wanna take things slow and see how things develop. Might pick up a frog spawn when I grab the flame angel but not sure if I wanna add anymore coral until I get a nem.
The guy that I visited who runs a store out of his basement had some fantastic pieces of LR so I might grab one of them and fill in the middle of the tank a little... might pick up another zoo colony but like I said not sure if I wanna add anything else before the nem, that way I can let the nem settle where it wants and go from there haha55g Long --> After 18mo of doing well the tank crashed during moving. why do all the fun things come out to play at night? lol
Took a look around the tank last night and saw some cool stuff:

That's an open clam thought it looked pretty cool since you can see the foot an all

My emerald hitching a ride on a big turbo haha this was pretty funny I thought

Everybody just hanging out haha
Starting to get a little worried about the bangaii cardinals since I haven't gotten them to eat much, they nipped at a couple brine shrimp when I put them into the tank but other than that they haven't done much.
I also got some more rock from a buddy so that's soaking in the sump right now and I'll most likely do a little scaping tomorrow but I wanna get some of this putty stuff so I can make a little structure type thing in the middle55g Long --> After 18mo of doing well the tank crashed during moving. Have your tried feeding them mysis shrimp ?
They might just be adjusting to there new home. It has taken all of my fish a little over a week to get used to the tankIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I’m not too sure if I had mentioned this or not, but when you use a far amount of that reef putty (about 1/3 of the tube or more), it can affect your skimmer. While the chemicals this putty will leach out are totally safe for all fish and corals, it does something to the water. Describing it in my own terms, its looks kinda like it increases the amount bubble that can be produced in the water so when the water gets to your skimmer, it will be overflowing in minutes. The last time I used a lot of the reef putty in my tank I had to shut off my skimmer for 3 days after and then adjust daily for another 3 days. There was no negative effects on my water quality by having the skimmer off for three days as I’m lightly stocked.
