Hi. I have a male betta in a tank. (more info) I wanted to add more fish and a shrimp. I thought on a ghost shrimp.
Can I do that? Any advice? Thanks.

do not see why not. the ghost shrimp is small, so some fish just might eat him.

if he got somewhere to hide, and you stay with smaller type fish, he might be okay.

Yes. But there is a danger with Betta and Ghostshrimp since Betta fish can be aggressive and could kill the shrimp. I do however know that people keep them together, just a worst case scenario.

LOL. Yes its very much up to the fish in question. I had a group of 10 small killer discus once. They where about 2 inch / 5 cm and among other things killed a pair of 10 inch nicaragua cichlids, an 8 inch dempsey and a pair of fully grown convicts which they where temp housed with. And I was afraid for the Discus putting them in that tank.

Yes, they are. But usually timid cichlids while the other fish in questions also were cichlids, Big mean cichlids.
