Looks great! Keep us updated for sure. Considering doing something similar soon, got some good ideas in here.
You consider doing a waterfall for the filter? Similar to a terrarium, only in a tank. Be a nice way to conceal it all IMO...
Oddly enough I found this on google while looking at ripariums...lol

Lol, what did you google, ghetto ripariums? It's going through the nasty brown algae phase right now, so no pics for a few. The tank is right next to my bed so I don't think I could tolerate the noise from a waterfall...the air pump for the sponge filter and the sump system on my sw tank are enough noise to try and sleep with.Originally Posted by i_am_511

Hahaha, too funny! It's the first if you google "ghetto riparium". Must be unique in all of the intarwebz.Originally Posted by i_am_511

It's not very pretty, but here's an update. It's turned into algae hell, which is to be expected since the lighting on it is a dual hagen glo t5HO. I'm thinking of filling it up further since I found out my apt floor is concrete slab and I don't have to worry about it falling through the floor.
The leleupi wouldn't sit still for a pic.Originally Posted by i_am_511
