I am in love with my new Familymember! I got a little female fancy mouse yesterday at Petsmart. She is black/white and even daytimes very active. Went right away to different websites to get all the information about them, so I don't do any mistakes with handling her and feeding her. Bought already good qualitity mouse food and add fresh veggies etc. daily to it. I had a white mouse when I was a child for 3 years, so I have a little experience. She is in my Hubby's office (the only catfree room)

Congrats on your new little friend, mice make great little pets. I used to raise them and sell them to local pet stores, every now and then I would get to sell one as a pet, that always made my day...

I printed out information what she shouldn't eat and what they are allowed to eat including treats. Funny that cheese is on the not to eat list! She licked a little peanutbutter from my finger and nibbled on a dried cranberry from my hand, too. Soooo cute!

Oh I just love mice/rats. I had mice up until a few years ago (went though my second childhood I think LOL). Priscilla sounds lovely, I'm sure she will give you a lot of enjoyment! I always had a few females, so they had playmates.

I gave mine a lot of treats and they loved corn kernels, natural puffed wheat and bits of wholemeal bread lightly soaked in skim milk (this is great for giving to pregnant females).

Congrats on the new family member.

Is there any chance for some pics ???
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Bought some healthy treats yesterday for her (even with rose- and lavenderbuds) at my LFS which also has birds, rabbits rats, snakes etc. Naturally I bought some fish, too. Adopted a large rainbowfish somebody brought in and add him to my 125 gallon to the big ones I got from Don from the forum. Still have to find out what he is (colored up over night to a red with a little purple in the middle) Was all pale in the store. He misses a few scale and somebody took a bite out of his tummy fins. But he is active and eats well. Put stresscoat in the water. Also bought a blue ram (my first chichlid!) and five zebra danios to boost up the school at my 55 g.
