ray's in 55?
Hello I have never kept sting rays before and was wondering if any would be able to live in a 55 planted tank?

No........
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Smaug, you're here a lot just to say it's a waste of your time, poor baby, I bet you don't even know how big a loser you are, and how much we laugh at you and your foolish attempt to give your life meaning. Quit drinking, get a life, go take care of your family, grow up!

Rays you'd be looking at 7, maybe 8 ft minimum really. And because they like to bury you can pretty much forget your plants.

if someone is trying to sell you 'teacup' rays that are supposed to stay small, forget it. it's just a gimmick name for baby ray pups. even the smallest ray species need huge aquariums for life.

If you have a good, strong current in your tank and some smooth stones/rocks you could try Hillstream Loaches. They look a bit like mini rays...sort of!
