Three cats -
Bravo (big all-white one): The oldest, given to Aminax back when she was a kid (teenager?). Mrs. Crankypants. Perpetually overweight in spite of being on a severe diet. Dislikes the other two cats, or people that aren't petting her right (she decides if it's right. If it's not, she bites you). Likes going outside (she's the only one that's allowed to because she's too fat to jump over the fence), begging for food, and sitting on people's stuff.
Padme (gray one): Middle aged, adopted by Aminax when she lived in an apartment by herself - Padme is the name she had at the adoption place, which started the whole Star Wars pet naming trend we have going on. Somehow became "my" cat long before Aminax and I moved in together. Recently recovered from kidney failure at a cost that would have finished this aquarium... and the next one
. Dislikes the other two cats, but isn't so vocal about it as Bravo. Likes punching Leia, rolling around in my dirty laundry, following me around everywhere, and peeing on Aminax's dirty laundry.
Leia (white siamese): Youngest. Three years ago some neighborhood boys brought a kitten to our door, asking if it was ours. Aminax said no but the kitten could stay with us while they continued the search for the owners. By the time I got home from work we had a new member of the family. We named her Leia because we thought maybe Padme would mother her. Dislikes critical thinking, getting punished for being naughty (but it never stops the behavior) and me doing "shotgun kitty". Likes pouncing the other two cats even when it gets her punched in the face, clawing up doorframes even when it gets her punished, clinging to Aminax. Only one of the three cats that doesn't mind interacting with the toddler.300 gallon mega tank: build in progress

My 125 had a (much smaller) internal overflow.. I hated it.. all kinds
of funky algae would get into the hard to reach places in the back.. fish would get in it no matter what measures were taken to keep them out.. and lastly just about any other kind of filter will work better (in my case). I wish I had taken mine out before I used the tank, as it was just glass siliconed, where yours is acrylic- it may be a much harder task.

...and I could buy me a 240 g saltwater tank, if I wouldn't spend so much on my cats and dogs!
