    Default Hi there

New to these forums, in a way. I used to be on here as pes142. Lost the email linked to that username, forgot the password, and decided to change my username for 2 reasons. The aforementioned, and the fact that i recently came back to tropicals, having kept exclusively natives for the past couple of years. So here i am, back in the world of tropicals, and nervous as hell. I've almost forgotten about the world of temperature control, water chemistry, and the like. It was easy when all i had to do for a water change was grab a couple of gallons of water from the body of water the fish came from. Now its back in business on the tropical side. I have a 20 long aquarium with 6 harlequin rasboras, 5 flame tetras, and a honey sunset dwarf gourami. And before anybody gets on my back about overcrowding and water quality, remember i came from natives, who make goldfish look like clean tank keepers. I have enough filtration on that 20 long for a couple of 50 gallon tanks, so no need to worry about water quality. Good to be back, and i look forward to posting again.

    hello and welcome!
When I go fishing I just throw sharp rocks in the water and wait for the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you are stupid and make bad decisions.

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.

Dear naps, sorry I hated you so much when I was a child... Love me

After watching these two schools swim around, and my little gourami just glide around his territory, I think i could stare at these fish for a long time. The schooling action i get with these fish is exactly what i wanted, and I'm not planning on adding anything else. My worry is anymore or any less fish could disrupt the schooling behavior which is my favorite aspect of aquarium keeping.

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
