As I would like to make this tank to be a mostly SPS reef tank, I decided to increase the flow a little. I changed one powerhead from 750 GPH to a 1100 GPH one. Now, one of the anemones has decided he doesn’t like the extra flow and has been moving around in the rock pile he was originally attached to. He has been moving about 8 inches a day, for the past 2 or 3 days.
I had to move a few SPS onto the frag racks so they would not get stung
It's amazing how a little change like that can be a big deal for some (or at least one) of the critters inside
I'll post some pics latter on, the battery is currently charging on my cameraIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

yes, I hear ya on that. You adjust one thing to make something happier, and another critter becomes out of sorts.
I've finally - after a year and half - found an arrangement that seems to work, and now I'm paranoid of moving ANYthing for fear of unsettling somebody and have to start the whole process again...because you can never replicate something you had set up before.

Sounds like you found the “sweet spot” for your tank, congrats. That is not an easy thing to do
I got a few pics with my cell phone. No the best quality, but you get the idea. Both of them used to be at the bottom of the rock pile until one decided it was time to move. I moved the SPS back for now, but I might put it on the frag again if I see any signs of movement again

Got to say, with the exception of the 2000G tank build in a guys kitchen I'm half way through reading, this is one of the better ones I've read in a while too.
Lovely clowns Cliff, will get some black ones some day!Used to try and keep track of my fish here.....

Thanks guys
Hockeyhead, that nem is only 1/2 open right now. Once he settles into a place he likes, I'll take a pic of him fully open.
This morning when I checked the tank before going to work, that nem had moved to the back of the rocks. With my luck he's going to stay there. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
