Hello Kids!
Hello fish lovers! My name is John AKA Bronzesnake and I'm a 48 year old happily married father of four. Ny daughter has graciously provided us with two beautiful grandkinds! So I am greatly blessed!
I have a 55 gal tank with a Tetra Whisper EX 70. I know there has been complaint about excessive noise with these filters but mine is extremely quiet and keeps the tank chrystal clear...I love it.
I have community tropical fish. I have had aquariums since I was a boy in Toronto and my wife and I got our first tank together about twenty years ago. We've had a tank going continuously for the past fifteen or so years.
We've had Oscars, Piranhas, Convicts, African Yellows, and Jack Dempseys over the years but I have decided I prefer the variety in the tropicals, so that's what we've gone with for the past few months.
Great to be here and hope to start making some new friends here soon!

40 gallon - planted SE asian biotope - 12 harlequin rasbora (10 more in QT)
