Hi guys and gals I am new...
Hi every one...
I am new to this site and a long term fish keeper, and a relatively new pleco breeder... though a friend as just introduced me to cichlids along the way.
In my past experience I always thought that cichlids never got along with...
Pleco's but a friend as a variety of pleco in with his jewel cichlids, and he as given me some which I have reluctantly added to my community tank.
Now it is in my reluctance as he swears his breed of jewel always get on with pleco in his tank.... now I might tread on my own feet.
I am thinking of leaving the jewel in the tank until I can get another tank established and then let the cichlids have a tank of their own.
What do you think....

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!
Tank size and filtration is very important with cichlids and most other fish. Have a large enough tank set up right and it may work.Lots of caves helps.ABS and pvc work great.Ray Your Freindly Neighborhood,Fully Mod-ified, Self-appointed Pic Hound!! Need pics!!!
