Damaged Fin and a couple of Q's
Hey all
Our new little betta "George" was exploring the tank and managed to get himself wedged between the filter and side. He's damaged his top fin.
Would water changes every 2 days help? Should I dose the tank with some Melafix as well?
It's just him and a few cherry shrimp in there.
Also, what is the ideal water temp and ph for bettas? I know they can handle a wide variety, but is there an "ideal" temp/ph for them?~Col~

Just clean water will cure many ills and he should be fine very soon. A bit of Melafix may help but he'll heal either way.

Thanks for that!
I can't believe the damage he managed to do! I've done a water change and I'll add some melafix.
He loves the water changes, plays in the water as I slowly tip it in. LOL!!~Col~
