New to AC
Hi
My name is Josh and I am from southern Ohio. Got interested in aquariums when my mom and her boyfriend (gadget228) picked up a 30 gallon tank from a family member. They got it all cleaned and up and running and soon after got a 75 gallon tank.
So this past year for Christmas I bought a small 2.5 gallon tank for my daughters, got it up and going, and purchased two neon tetras (didnt know they were dyed at the time) and an albino bottom feeder. I later added a guppy. Well about three months ago the shelf it was on fell after I completed a water change and placed it back on the shelf. Fortunately they lived and I took them to my moms and placed them in there holding tank until I got a new 10 gallon going and cycled it. So I brought the fish home and thankfully they're still alive.
Now I have added an adult swordtail, a baby guppy, a baby swordtail, and two baby platies that my mom's fish had. So thanks to my Mom, and her bf, we now have a tank full of fish and a wonderful new hobby. Thanks guys!Last edited by jEly10; 08-07-2010 at 02:23 AM.

Welcome to the forum
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
