Watermelon, a summertime treat
After supper today we had some watermelon left over. For some reason I remembered Crispy’s pics of his plecos enjoying watermelon.
I figured my plecos would enjoy it so I gave them two pcs to try. And, just like Crispy's plecos, my seamed to enjoy it.
But so did my severums. My one smaller severum actually claimed one pc of water melon and chased off one of the plecos. My severums will both eat the cucumber and zucchini I put in the tanks, but it looks like they enjoy the watermelon a lot more.

I should have fed my BN some watermelon, but I didn't think of it.
My daughter made herself a watermelon helmet...she and a friend went to the Rider's game today.
Say Cliff? Hubby and I went to The Fringe tonight...saw a guy with a St. Bernard...I was pretty sure it wasn't you...er, was it? 'Cuz if it was I woulda said 'Hi!'...

Sorry Rue, It wasn't us. After talking our little 190 lbs guy to the dog wash at the local petstore, he wanted to go home and nap. I almost had to check him for a pulse!
Far to tied to go out again
I hope you daughter enjoyed the Game. I'm a big CFL nut so I know I did.If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

I think my daughter enjoyed her 'date' more than the game...lol...
She ended up not wearing her melon helmet, she didn't want to mess her hair (that's a 'girly' first!)...so she gave it to a little boy sitting by them...he happily wore it all game long!

glad she enjoyed her date and what a sweet thing to do with the kid next to her.
as for watermelon my plecos, and cae love the stuff, the clowns dont even give it a chance to drop to the floor before they are all over it. and strangely enough my shrimp sit and filter over the water melon. its funny to watch.16 tanks and counting
The more i look at your tank the more i want your tank in my tank!
