Greetings, people of Earth
...or, uh, the ACF.
I am a 21 yo student thing. I've had freshie tanks for a few years...nothing too elaborate...my largest was a 40g planted tropical community which was relocated to a friend's house before I lost touch with them.
Due to some circumstances, I was forced to downsize to a single planted 10g (which housed my betta for three years before he recently passed). I am debating on whether or not I would now like to use this tank for breeding shrimp...always been fascinated with invertebrates. It would have to be a species which people or LFSs would be interested in buying off me (not looking to make a profit off this, though), so...I am still in research mode to determine what is in demand and the best way to go about things. I do LOVE a nice planted tank, so it should be great fun. Figured I'd join this forum to expand my knowledge of keeping shrimp and feed my FW tank hobby/obsession which is always there, lurking in the shadows at the back of my mind...

Welcome to the forum
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
