Its been awhile since I have been on here between work, school and a wedding I have been kinda doing the bare min with my tank. Since I have last been on here I have down sized to just my 55gal tank.

I also have lost my blood parrot and catfish to a real bad case of ick. It has been a few months since that has happend and Im ready to get my tank stocked back up. So Im in need of suggestions.

As of now I have a severum who is about 5-6 inches, 2 bovarian rams and 4 mollies who I am planning on getting rid of before I get anything else.

Im looking for either 1 larger fish to add or maybe a couple medium sized fish?

    Any suggestions.
55gal: 1gold severum(jasper),1 Green Sev (Spot), 3 tiger barbs (left), bovarian ram.
    29gal: 3 goldfish growing out

We are going to have to change your name then. :) Another medium sized semi aggresive New World cichlid would work nicely.

Not one of my strong suits. I am sure a member who knows more about bigger cichlids than I will be along. Off hand a firemouth, festivum, maybe a rainbow cichlid.

I nominate geophagus, very cool fish always actively digging around doing their thing. Mine have very little attitude for the vast majority of the time.

If I could find a red that would be AWESOME but they are hard to come by around here. So Im thinking maybe a green severum, a couple angle fish or maybe just a small school of hatchets(or a small fish of such).

I like the idea of the angel fish too.It should work out if the sevs aren't aggressive at all.

I agree they look great. And I kinda like the angels too, now that I have thought about it more Im debating between two angels, just getting a few more rams or just another severum.
