Hai there ^^
Why hello there ^^. I'm quite happy I came across this forum, I've been looking to join a good decent English aquarium forum for a while now :D.
English you might say? Well yes, first I will introduce myself and then continue with this story :p. My name is Hilda (obviously not ShinLi, that's only my username), I'm 23 years old, a girl, and I'm from the Netherlands. I've been apart of a Dutch aquarium forum for over a year now, but yeh I wanted to spread out my wings a bit. I did join another English aquarium forum yesterday, but I don't really like the community there. After poking my head around here a bit I must say I'm rather impressed with the community at first glance, the advices that are given, and the friendly comments etc.
Now a bit more about me. As many of you I'm sure, I also tend to suffer from MTS. I currently have two aquariums up and running. The first one since March last year, it's a Juwel Vision 260, a community tank located in our living room. (sidenote: I still live at home with my parents). The second is a Juwel Rekord 60, situated in my room, and is currently home to a recovering betta male, and four pseudogastromyzon cheni. A third aquarium is currently underway. I bought a 2nd hand Juwel Rio125, that I will turn into a truly, mighty hillstream aquarium. And I'm still planning on getting a nano aquarium this year, because that is just freaking awesome and I love some aquascaping myself. I had actually promised my parents to then get rid of the Rekod60, but I think I'll keep it and make it a home for that betta male. As he's quite awesome :p.
Further I don't do much atm, I'm enjoying my last few days of my vacation from work. I am on holiday break from school however, I study animal care (it is no where near as interesting as it could possibly be). I work at the local supermarket here in town. Which is how I pay for my aquariums, my other animals, and things like clothes and going out with my friends and the boyfriend. And in the future I can hopefully realize my dream of opening up and owning my very own fish store :D. (because to be honest, every other fish store in my province basically sucks).
Next to taking care of my aquariums I own three bunnies, two gerbils and a green iguana. And we have two family cats. I also enjoy watching tv (especially sci-fi series, I'm a star trek nerd :D), playing games om my xbox360, listening to some awesome music and hanging out with my friends and boyfriend.
I shall stop now otherwise I might bore you guys XD, I will post some pictures of my aquariums in the appropriate forums. And look forward to learning a lot more and hopefully share some of my own knowledge and experiences ^.^.

Welcome to the forum
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
