I got a spotted raphael catfish and a gourami yesterday. The catfish will go to the 80 gallon in about a month. Right now they are in a 10 gallon. I fed then 1 sinking shrimp pellet last night. I've seen the catfish eating it but not the gourami. This morning about half the pellet was still there. Should I feed them every two days then? Also I fed the fish in the 80 gallon like this: Morning- flakes. Night- half of an algae wafer, 3 sinking shrimp pellets. I sold my 3 pictus cats and fed them the same as I always do. They seemed to have ate it all. Should I feed less or is it okay to feed the same even though there are 3 less fish?

No. I feed the fish in the other tank flakes. I feed the gourami a sinking shrimp pellet.

I'd say try feeding them less and see if you don't have any left overs. If they keep leaving some, just make sure you take out of the tank so it wont add ammonia and such. I dunno, sometimes my fish everything I put in, sometimes they don't.

I fed them half of a pellet last night. Still leftovers. Tried to take it out of the tank but it just broke into little pieces. Maybe I'll feed them half of a pellet every 2 days?

The gourami would prefer flakes or someking of floating food, they are surface fish.

I just tried that and he ignored it. The gourami's I've had in the past ate shrimp pellets. This one I haven't seen eat once. Twice they haven't eaten all their food should I do a water change to get the extra food out?

It would be a good idea to vacuum it out.

I still need to get a smaller vacuum for the 10 gallon. I only have a vacuum for the 80 gallon. I guess I'll just use it if you can use the same vacuum on different tanks. Is 50% too big of a WC? Half the water in it was from the other tank as well as biomax. So it is already cycled. I did a water test on tuesday before adding the fish and it was perfect but has only had fish in it since tuesday.

50% water change would probably be a good idea.
