Is there a trick to getting lilies to bloom? I picked up a few bulbs at the LFS a while back which have been growing nicely in my tank for just about 18 months. The lilies send off great spade shaped red/brown leaves that climb to the top of the tank and get huge (and turn a little green at the top). I would LOVE to see these plants flower but I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

Also, is it possible to put 'wild' lily pads into a tank? My grandfather lives on a local lake that has a lot of green (round) lilypads which have great white fragrant flowers. The pond is pretty shallow so I can dig them out with a shovel without too much issue but I wasn't sure if hitchhikers could endanger the plants.
