    That's the wrong attitude, and you clearly haven't done your research. Though they only get 8 inches, they need room to swim. A 4ft tank is the minimum, 6ft is a better choice.

    wow, 9 fish in a 30 gal tank - you must really keep on top of your maintenance.
    How much live rock do you figure you have in there?
