    Default koi and aros not good

    ok so lesson learned, koi are not good tank mates for an arowana..even if they are the same size..my aro got very agressive and i had to set up an old 55gl to transfer them to..minus a few scales and a small bit of tail they seem ok. by the way any suggestions of droopy eye causes/cures?

    sorry to hear they did not get along... drop eye's cause is widely debated.. everything from head trauma, to bottom dwellers, to fatty foods being blamed... the only truth is that noone knows 100% what causes DE. Silver aros are most prone to it and 99% of them get it. The only known cure is surgery to remove the built up fatty tissue which pushes the eye downwards.
