Tetra with disease help?
My tetra has clear looking bubbles all over his skin. I was wondering if this is ick? Can anyone help me out and let me know if they have had this experience before? I was just wondering before I treat my tank.
Thanks

Can you get a pic up?
Think with logic and rationality more than emotion. Act with moderation and consideration. Contemplate ideals and realistic goals and weigh out possibilities and options. Temper not with personal delusions or false hope but learn to accept and move on.

Gas Bubble disease. Not a disease but a condition really. Search it on the web to see what can be done about it.

Isn't it like the bends? I think it's a resualt of an impropper gas composition.....too much nitrogen in the water?

did you just do a large water change? Sometimes small bubbles will get stuck in their body slime. I s it swimming normally?

Also, make sure these bubbles are not moving! Flukes are clear and move about.

never use meds to treat a tank unless you are SURE what you are treating. All meds are hard on fish too.
