ick for how long?

Hi there, my red noise and also some of my cardinals actually got the ick, i dont know how come , didnt add any new fish , and temperature is stable. So i increased my temp to 30 C around 86 F. Added the medicine Paraguard. How longue should it take before my fish dont show white spots on them? Almost for 2 days already. They eat pretty well and they are active . I do water changes everydays before adding new medicine. But im so worried about them =(, i dont get where this ick come from, the only thing i did is place some plants and move some stuff in the tank.

It will probably take a week or so for the spots to disappear, and then you will want to treat for about another week to ensure that its completely gone.

I agree with Rob. You need to get it all and it only dies when it is free swimming.
