Strange green deposit on plastic plant
Hi,
I have a 20g tank with some danios, tetras and plecos.
I have recently noticed a strange green deposit on a plastic plant in my tank, it looks like green acrylic paint. Has anyone got any idea what it is and if I need to do anything about it see pics below:

Looks rather blue-green (photo-effect on the color?) Could be algae. Phosphate level might be high. I assume your lighting is low and a normal 8 - 12 hours.
Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell
