    Default Plant Id Please?

    Saw this plant and like it a lot. Kinda resembles an anubius but don't think so.

    Does it have a rhizome? Looks like a crypt to me.

    Could it be a Barclaya (Orchard lily)???...

    I was going to say barclaya, too. I just so happened to be looking at one last night on ebay. Check out this link if you're interested...

    Barclaya red

    The color looks slightly off between the two pictures, but the lighting in the two pictures looks entirely different as well. This may be the one you're looking for. I was considering putting it in my tank, but the guy selling it recommends a pretty large one for it.

    Looks like you hit on it Rue. It is purdy and is a bulb plant. Really looked like something from the crypt family. You know, crypts but spelled a-n-u-b-i-a-s.

    Thank You Sun! My tank may be too small too with all I already have in it. Checking out your link now. Pewie. It's a seasonal plant. Guess I'd rather a red tiger lotus if that's the case.
